2026 Youth Planning Team

Synod Youth Workshop is planned and carried out by our Youth Planning Team. They select the scripture for the conference, work with the keynoter on themes, plan out energizers, plan our worship music, come up with skits for fun moments, oversee the variety show, and are ultimately the true leaders of the conference!

Travis Dunmire

Howdy! My name is Travis Dunmire, and I attend Northwoods Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. I am a junior at Klein Cain High School.  I enjoy physics, chess, and music, and I’m very excited to be on the Synod Planning Team for 2026!

Caroline Penrod

Hi, my name is Caroline Penrod and I go to St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Boerne Texas. I am an upcoming Freshman in college attending Texas A&M University in College Station. I am most excited about making new friends at Synod and being a part of the Music Planning Team, and I love to sing and hanging out with my friends. I can’t wait to continue the tradition of the youth planning team and change lives as Synod has changed mine .

Jenna Stenberg

Hi everyone! My name is Jenna Stenberg and I go to St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church in Richardson. I am a current junior, and love to sing, read, and hang out with friends in my spare time. I am so excited to lead SYNOD on the music team and make new friends this year!

Hi my name is Quinn Kahlden! I am from Grace First Presbyterian in Weatherford and I will be a junior this year! I love to play soccer and hangout with my dog Zeke in my free time! I’m most looking forward to seeing my old friends and making new ones this year, while serving on Rec team!

Emma Culver

I’m Emma Culver and I am so excited to be a part of the Synod Youth Workshop Planning Team. I will be graduating high school in 2027 and I hope to attend UT Austin for Premed. I work as a horseback riding instructor and I love teaching kids how to ride. For fun I also live to read books and play soccer. Synod has been a huge part of my life and I’m so grateful to share the fun with everyone.
